Installation

This is the final step of a typical project where the pieces and parts of the project are transported to the location and placed in their final position. Depending on the size and complexity of the project this can either be a quick process or one that requires multiple steps and, sometimes, specialized equipment. Once the installation is complete the project itself may be complete or there may be an ongoing maintenance/refurbishment program.

Managing Expectations

We've got a lot a sayings around here, "Installation is Installation and it's got a mind of its own" and "We live in a ROUND World and we're constantly trying to put SQUARE things in it". Installation encounters things each and every time:

• Floors aren't level
• Walls aren't plumb
• Corners aren't square
• That wasn't there on the site visit
• Seams matched "perfectly" on the fabrication floor but don't align on the location's floor

These are not complaints, they are - quite simply - installation realities.

Our install team is well adept at adapting to the location's nuances. There is a lot of tie-in, adjusting, touching-up, and other installation activity to get the finished pieces installed properly.
