Design for Fabrication
Based on the Concept drawings/sketches, Technical Design Drawings are created using specific 2D or 3D modelling software. The details in those drawings are based on a set of specified standards and/or our client's requirements. When the design for fabrication package is completed, it is delivered for approval.
Our Design for Fabrication package will contain the information needed for the fabrication processes:
- Drawings
- Construction requirements
- Weld requirements for Metal Work
- Finishing details
- Textures
- Coatings
- colors
- aging
- etc...
Managing Expectations
Most of the time we develop the Design for Fabrication drawings
If engineering is required for a project, our designer will work with the engineer during the creation of the Design Drawings to ensure the final designs meet the required structural calculations.
