Custom Fabrication

This is when the project really starts to come alive. Usually, this is the first point that something physical starts to appear.

Parts/components are produced by:

• CNC carving
• 3D printing
• Milling
• Plasma cutting
• Welding
• Hand carving/sculpting
• or from some other manual method.

These parts, likely made from many different materials with many different finishes, will be assembled together and become the finished product.

Depending on the requirements and scope of the project:

• The product may be completed at our facility and delivered ready-to-install
• The components are delivered for final assembly on location, due to size or complexity

Managing Expectations

To meet the deadline, our team mobilizes quickly to build from the Design for Fabrication package. Progress imagery is delivered to demonstrate our forward progress.

There are times when the progress imagery, a site visit, or some other circumstance introduces the need/desire for change in the finished product that is different from the Final Concept and Design for Fabrication drawings. Not to worry... We can adapt and adjust to changes that come our way. Depending on where we are in the process for a particular part, the change may be simple to affect (minimal budgetary impact) or require a tear-down and rebuild (likely to become a change order).
